Upload all recodings that haven't been uploaded yet

Does anyone upload every recording they make and would like a way to add all the recordings which haven't yet been uploaded to a queue to be uploaded?

Thanks for the suggestion, it's a great idea. I will definitely add it. I don't have a timeline for when that will be though.

By the way I made this for GTD in the first place but I tend to go through the recordings on the phone. In 1.7 I introduced a 'go to next recording on delete' mode (under settings, playback) so it's pretty quick to go through on the phone too. It may not fit your workflow, but it might be an option until 'upload all not uploaded' option is available.

Append to a recording

When a recording is selected have a menu option to append more on to the end of the existing recording (idea from user feedback)

add ability to choose dropbox folder to upload

I'd like all my voice notes go into the same folder in dropbox where I keep my photo or text notes. So please add the ability to upload files in a folder that I designate. thanks

Add archive checkbox or categories

Please say if you want archive, categories, or both. The archive flag would let you hide a recording from the list unless you chose to "show all". Categories would let you assign a category or tag to a recording. It's not how I use it, so if...

Can no longer send link in a text, why not?

Was able to send link to recording in a text. No longer able. Cannot download DropBox to my phone (Nokia Lumia 710-windows). Want to be able to send audio file in a text. Please respond, quite frustrated. Suggestions for other app?

Sorry this had to be disabled for now. DropBox changed how the sharing links work and the library I use for DropBox doesn't support it. I am looking at upgrading it to support that again.

However there are workarounds for you. The dropbox website and mobile website provide the links you need. As for DropBox on the phone, I use "BoxFiles for Dropbox" which has a free version. That's probably the easiest way.

It has been added back in for version 1.6.

It had been implemented a while back but were were asked to take it out. We have since gotten the go-ahead to put it back in. Thanks everyone for your patience with this feature.

I agree. In fact it was on the feature list for the first version. However so far MS doesn't let us update the live tile directly from the app itself. As soon as that functionality becomes available I will definitely add that feature.Thanks!

It looks like this feature should be possible after the Mango update.
Also I added a recording count to the Recordings page until then.

Add setting to disable animations

Is there anyone who wants it as fast as possible? If so I could add an option to disable animations, they add very minimal time when going between pages and I didn't want to spend time on an option if no one would use it.

I'm currently looking for a solution to this. It appears that some phones actually work for larger recordings like that but others do not. I've tried some other Dropbox libraries but had no luck. I will also investigate Skydrive integration as an alternative.
For a workaround one possibility would be for me to create a multi-part zip file and upload all the individual parts that you could then unzip from dropbox on a computer. That certainly isn't as convenient and then you can't send links as nicely either. Does anyone have thoughts on that idea?
